This Active Information Display is designed to fit a wide range of VW models and can be installed without any coding or programming.
To clarify, this virtual instrument cluster is not a genuine VW part. It is purpose-built for vehicles that were never offered with the OEM digital cockpit, or as a more cost-effective alternative for models that do offer a genuine version.
Installation does not require coding, however it does require transferring the original motherboard from your existing analogue speedometer into the new digital cluster.
Because the original motherboard is reused, all displayed data remains 100% accurate. The virtual cluster simply presents the same information from your analogue speedometer in a modern digital format — ensuring complete reliability with no loss of functionality.
Now that the technical details are covered, here’s what the system offers:
Key Features
• Vehicle-specific configuration – Select your exact vehicle model and body colour to be displayed on the virtual cluster (e.g. red Scirocco shown).
• Full unit & metric control – Choose between MPH or KMH, litres or gallons, and other measurement preferences.
• Multiple display layouts – Over 7 different view modes, allowing you to tailor the look to your driving style (see images).
• Customisable ambient & pointer colours – Adjust accent lighting and needle colours independently, allowing dual-colour themes as shown in the photos.
• Accurate vehicle data – Real-time MPG, oil temperature, trip information and more, just like an original VW digital cockpit.
• Built-in Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & HiCar for seamless smartphone integration.
• VW-style start-up animation for a true factory-style experience.
• Vehicle option controls – Enable or edit features such as ACC, coming-home lights, automatic wipers, auto-locking and more (depending on your vehicle’s specifications).
• Service interval reset functionality built in.
• No fault warnings – All genuine warning lights function exactly as they would on the original analogue cluster.
